Diffuse Pavilion is developed as an urban architecture installation for Fuse – a community festival at the Kerry Center in Jingan. Open-ended and expansive, this voluminous space provides a sense of enclosure while being permeable and accessible to everyone. As the focal point for the 10-day event, this space is designed to be inclusive of a variety of the festival’s workshops and spontaneous encounters. Like a momentary capsule in the city, the pavilion both gathers and diffuses sound, light and ideas. The structure is built with readily available materials and easily assembled on site.
