The project consist of converting the top floor of an office tower with views of Victoria harbour in Hong Kong into a day spa. As a place of tranquility, the treatment rooms are designed as soft circular shaped enclosures covered with felt, absorbing both light and sound. Bearing resemblance to an intimate cluster of Mongolian yurts, also traditionally constructed out of felt, the rooms vary gently in size and are highly individualized spaces, putting guests at its centre. The partitions are fabricated off-site and the felt was custom woven to match a precise colour palette.
